I can play most of the songs on that album but not much of the lead guitar.... Tom Morello does some pretty strange things on the guitar...a bit beyond me.... It was guitar playing that got me into Metallica....which reminds me, ive been meaning to go see that movie Metallica - Some kind of monster, which has got very good reviews in Australia.... was it big in America???

Pollovivo....what is the Ocarina???...... :confused:

Ive read a few reviews about it.... its supposed to be about the bands relationships.....they hire a shrink to help them get on better... the documentary covers 2 years, while they were making "St anger" I think...

I play the piano. :o) I tried to major in it actually, but that hasn't worked out too well. I also play clarinet, sax, marimba and random percussion instruments.

By the way, ocarinas are awesome.

The Fender Strat is my favourite guitar, I prefer them above the Gibson because of the wider neck on the Gibson... they have a good sound though :)

Hmm, well I play the clarinet for school, but I'm gonna learn the saxophone. I can play a scatter of simple songs on the keyboard/piano. But my baby has gotta be my 5-string electric bass. Oh how I love that extra string!

I have played guitar since I was 15 and sat around improvising on jazz and blues scales for the first ten years. Since then I have found I really enjoy playing with other people to achieve those different feels. Do I play the guitar? I don't think so. I think it still plays me. It seems everyone these days can at least play a couple of tunes on the guitar. It's like Hendrix said the guitar is the easiest instrument to play, but one of the hardest to master.

Hey isaac...good music:) ....I like a lot of Led Zeppelin, blues....definately Jimi Hendrix!!!...AC DC and Metallica are my favourites too
I've got a picture of Jimi setting his guitar on fire on the back of my guitar case:D, actually I think it is a waste to wreck good instruments like Jimi and The Who did.... but it is a good pic;) .... the great thing about having access to the net is getting guitar tab of all the sites around, it makes learning songs so much easier

Ive been playing guitar for about 8 years and I found that the first 2 months it was very difficult and then after that it became a lot easier and more fun

Well, then definately need to buy another book and start trying again... Only one problem with one of the guitars is that it's strung for a lefty. :rolleyes: And the other one is out of tune.... Oh, well. It should be worth it. But, thanks for letting me know about the roughly first 2 months.

[ZEALOUS BRAGGING]I play guitar, piano, bass, and drums.

I have three guitars, my acoustic/electric is rather spiffy and new. I have a mediocre bass, and a middle of the range keyboard. I am planning on buying a new Korg PA1X pro keyboard when I can muster the cash. It might take a while (it's $6000 new), but it will be well worth it. The drums I'm not so good at. ;)

i used to play the violin in 4th and 6th...i was also forced to play the recorder, like everyone else...oh well. um i think almost the entire time i was in elementary school, and definitely 6th-8th, i played in the handbells...not very broad music education :/

oh yeah, and i'm trying to convince my friends to teach me Clocks on the piano, and at the sleepover i just came back from, i tried to teach myself one of the LOTR soundtracks...one of the friends who plays the piano can also play the cello, and she figured out They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard! on it, and a melody i wrote in Music Tech. i wish i was that musically talented...also it helps with her amazing drawing talent, which i am learning, but not even close to as good as her, which makes sense because she's been drawing for years, and me...months, at most.
