The Internet

Well, think about it. Is the Internet a good or a bad thing? Yeah, sure we can play games on it and communicate with other people easily and instantly, but do we really need it? Or is it just another invention made to enhance, but not simulate, your life? Should we all smash our computers :angry: and run outside?
But what about when it's raining? What do we do then? And, if you're like me with your cousin in lets just say Ireland and you in... hmmm I don't know new Zealand? So. What should happen. Should the computer stay? Or should it go?

I agree... Computers in my opinion are pointless. Living life to its fullest is how it should be.

in my opinion, i can see the arguments against the internet and computers but i think they are far too valuable a source of entertainment, communication and knowledge to be abandoned

Its not just a basis, its almost a necessity these days. Besides, if we get rid of computers, what's next? TV, radios, cars. All can and have been considered useless at some point in time.

if we didnt have computers though think about it... we wouldnt be speaking on this very forum right now would we... and what could we do to pass time or even speak 2 our friends without texting them. the internet is an essential tool as you can purchase goods speak to friends or even ccreate chaos in chatrooms :p

The internet and computers take a much more important role than you perceive.

Without them, tills in shops wouldnt exist, much research couldn't be carried out, information couldn't be spread across the globe quickly and efficiently...

Without it, our lives would come to a standstill in every single way. Even our banks would no longer be able to tell you how much money you have... (although they seem to be struggling with this at the moment anyway...)

No credit cards, no mobiles (mini computers), slower medical advancement... all would result from the removal of the internet and computers

maybe the internet can do some bad .. but it does not make us bad it just gives us the choice .. there always will be that choice it just sticks itin your face rather than you haveing to find it ..
but none of us would be on this forum or playing games ..
there are so many advantages and the majrity of people dont even see half of the bad things on the internet .

While the majority of lives are benefitted in some way by computers, I have slowly come to believe that they are more trouble than they are worth. An email machine or internet on a cell phone would benefit me just as much and save me a lot of time and hassle. Games are a waste of time. I have too much time to waste.

yea they are kinda a waste, just i think every 1 has gottin lazy . Easier to sit an play or talk etc, then do something productive. Just my opinion
