Star Trek

Ok, I'll admit it, I love the Star Trek shows. Yes I guess that makes me an ultra-geek :D.

My favorite series is most peoples least favorite, Voyager. Next Generation and Deep Space Nine are second and third.

Didn't like the orginal series as much because I just don't like the character of Kirk and most of the episodes revolved around him. Haven't seen enough episodes of Enterprise to really make a decison about whether I like that one or not.

Favorite movie is a toss up between The voyage home with the whales and First contact. Unlike most people, I didn't mind the first movie (ST the motion picture) either.

So who else likes Star Trek and what are your fav series and movies?

come on the originals were the best captin kirk played by william shatner i mean it was the perfect character and it usually wasent only him the episode was rvolved around it was the exploration team but your right thy were a little self centered

I've finally watched enough of Enterprise to make a choice on whether I like it or not. Well the verdict is yes, I do like it, but not as much as Voyager, Next Gen or DS9, so it comes in 4th.

I think the idea for the show was a good one, but badly timed. Putting a show set well in the past of the other three recent series just became a bit frustrating to watch. Seeing the Klingons as enemies again, the Vulcans barely trusted, the ship's transporters not working ect was just plain weird. Perhaps if they had done that series first, then jumped ahead in time for the other three, it wouldn't have been so bad.

Although I did enjoy the movie that the whales were in...Not a huge fan of star trek anymore but watched most of the 80's series

Never seen the movies, the original, or Enterprise. I love The Next Generation. I liked Deep Space Nine and Voyager as well.

I liked the original series when it was original ... (that means I'm OLD!!) .. but it has dated a fair bit.

Watched a few episodes of Enterprise but didn't rate it much.

I loved TNG the best, as it just seemed to capture the adventure of the original series, but with the added level of realism that came about during that time.
