Advertising

Hi Shaggy, I am wondering why we have ads in the middle of the threads all of a sudden? Are they supposed to be there, or did you have no choice with placement?:confused:
While I do understand web sites need ads to help pay the bills, all other forums I frequent have them on the main page (top, bottom or sides), and having them in the threads is very annoying. Trying to find good posts among all the spam is hard enough without this :).
I don't mean to sound like a whinger, because I like this place, and feel it has great potential to become a huge community site, but this style of advertising is...well....annoying :D.

So, you actually look at all the posts here? I wasn't sure anyone did. :D

This was just a tester, to see what it would look like. I will end up taking it down from here in the threads and putting it up in the normal place.

Hope you are right that this turns out to be a huge community site. We just need more posters.

Good news about the ads, they will look better in the proper places.
Yes, I do look at the threads, on the rare occasions (these days), that there are new posts.
I am an active member of 4 forums, including this one, so I guess you can call me a forum junkie :D.
