Who here has played world of warcraft? I used to play it, but my wife made me quit. Has anyone here had an experiance similar to this?

my freind plays all the time and he wants me to get but i was like heck no fifty dollars for the game and more money to play i just dont got the money

World of Warcraft is my favourite game at the moment. I don't play as much as I used to because of other commitments but im not married so I don't have a wife problem :D

I think its a good game though, the multiplayer feature is good and combined with a voice communcation system its possible to have fun with many other people at once. I am in a big guild on the Proudmoore server and we organised a guild raid which was intended as a friendly small war. The number of players in the Alliance group was better than expected with over 60 of us for most of the raid. We could all talk to each other because of voice comms so it made it quite easy to organise everyone.

We ran straight through a couple of towns wiping out anyone in our way before finally being halted by the opposition gathered at the gates to the main town Orgrimmar. After we got slaughtered by their defense we did a suicide run into the main town to finish the night and the sight of our group running into the town being chased by enemy guards and players was so funny to watch.
