The Wiggles, What are They, IYO?

Like Barney before..The Wiggles have given us adults the run to the shrink..alot faster then any other annoyance..what will they come up with next that annoys us?

I used to baby sit for my friends son. He used to bring the wiggles videos with him and watch them. They were alright the first time you watched them, but after that it all went down hill.

The Wiggles are one of Australia's greatest embarassments, not quite the worst though, that title belongs to Steve Irwin the crocodile idiot ;).

Was very glad when they announced their US trip, only problem was though, they came back. Next time they go over there, please do Australians everywhere a favour and keep them :D.

In my opinion which is influenced from coffee deprivation and lack of chocolate >.>
I believe the wiggles is a form of mind control used upon children to teach them how to act as well as " useful information." Also in my opinion I believe the Wiggles to be a companies ten second idea to recieve ratings and try to surpass other shows such as Author, Sagwa and Sesame Street.
Finally in my opinion I believe that Wiggles is a form of punishment for the children that decide to skip school only to find out there is nothing on tv but mindless annoying children shows and pointless boring reruns. This is to assure the child that has played "hookey" ( sp?) that though they have slept in they condemn theirselves to boredum when sleep is sufficient and nothing is left to do. So in short
Wiggles are a creation of evil to anyone that is not learning anything from it. >.>

The Wiggles first appeared on an Australian TV show- Hey Hey it's Saturday under a different name, they were then known as the Cockroaches, a semi punk/ cover band.
They did not acheive much success there and turned to a different audience.
Thats when they started the kids stuff. Much to many adults displeasure they found a niche which served them well and earns them heaps of money.
However I feel there are two evils in this world which pose a greater threat than the Wiggles, one is those never to be trusted CareBears and the other is that most annoying thing known as The Crazy Frog.
But the Wiggles per se should be listed in the Axis of Evil and treated in a similar manner.

Ok, at least I'm not the only one that thinks this way about them. I don't let my daughter watch them, very much, anymore, just so I don't have to start pulling my hair out by the roots.
