We don't appreciate people signing up just to post these sort of links. These sort of sites are well known on the internet and the primary aim of them is to sign up new people. Our members are quite capable of finding this sort of stuff for themselves if they want to. Our site isn't here as an advertising billboard.

Yup... maybe you're right, this is no advertising billboard. However you guys(the admin) have some pretty huge n' healthy banner on you non advertising billboard for your members to see n' click. Ironic...eh?

Those ads help pay the costs associated with the site and are up there with the admins knowledge and permission. Our members are also under no obligation to click them. Some members like me who use a browser with adblock don't even see them.

There is a huge difference between someone coming onto the site from outside purely to post advertising/sales links which don't benefit the site at all and without the permission of the site admin, and the site admin himself putting up ads to benefit himself and the site. The google ads are helping to keep the site up for our members, the links you posted don't.

Also the google ads aren't a con trying to trap people. The site you advertised is such a site.

If any of what I've said already fails to convince you, there is also the fact its against our forum rules to post links for referral and/or advertising/sales purposes. On that alone your link was not allowed to be posted here.

I agree with Arkacia. All you need to do, Castik, is read the rules, and you'll see what is and isn't allowed. I can understand Shaggy doing things to help keep the cost of this and his other site(s) free. I, like Arkacia, have a pop-up blocker, so I have yet to see them, but doesn't mean I don't understand.

Honestly, I think if you don't like the rules, or don't agree with the set-up of this place, then there's absolutely nothing keeping you here.

Here In RG and in most sites.. have sponsors that help in costs of running sites such as RG..but what is not permitted by others are sites that promote their personal agenda for payments to themselves or for payments of others.
