why doesnt anyone stick with one career? all the newest (and worse, might i add) pop stars started out acting. i mean, really. hilary duff, lindsay lohan, lalaine, and those are just the obvious ones.

Maybe they think they would like to sing instead or maybe it's better money. I have noticed the same thing here with soapie stars in Australia. Like Delta Goodrem, Holly Valance, Bec Cartwright, and Tamin(or whatever her name is) from Home and away and Neighbours.

Personally I think they are hoping their looks will make them popular because Delta is the only one that can sing, the rest are pretty bad:(

I think its all just an excuse to cash in on the fame of a currently populour actor/actress. Most of them can't sing but they still rake in the dollars because of their fame and looks, and the stupidity of the teeny boppers who file into the shops like sheep to buy whatever their favorite cash cows are pumping out.

Singers who try to move into acting are no better most of the time. I can only stand Madonna in one of her movies and thats because she was a side player and not the star.

They Probably couldnt Get any more acting Jobs, so made little 5 year olds buy their music, I meen their TV show ends, then they attrackt the SAME audience with their Music
