Does Nessie exist?:)
I'm not too sure he/she/they don't/doesn't. There is speculation that Nessie and other lake monsters around the world could be elusive decendants of water dinosaurs that have managed to survive.

The skeptical part of me is saying not to be so silly, if dinosaurs had survived surely we'd have evidence of that but the part of me that loves the paranormal is saying if only a few scattered individuals survived then perhaps there could be some substance to this mystery. There is also the reports of sightings for centuries.

I found this site today which has web cams watching Loch Ness. It invites you to wach the loch and see if anything shows up :).

I hope that the loch ness monster is real cause that would be freakin sweet. I think, though that it is more likely that some dinosaur would exist somewhere else that is bigger. I think loch ness is pretty small, but I could be wrong because I don't really know what I'm talking about

I believe that its possible but highly highly unlikely. The only reason I say its possible is the possibility of a mutated sea creature or something like that.

I would say its not possible to miss a creature that large in a lake. Its not just one lake or sea creature, people want the tourist money and prop up old superstitions

I would say this is somewhat...crazy. The Loch Ness moster falls into the catagory of mythical beings. I'm sure it spawned from folk tale stories that people told to teach certain lessons to the masses and when someone "saw" this monster it was cause they were drunk, it was dark outside or they are just flat out crazy. The fact that people still "see" it today is crazy. This is almost like saying "Santa Claus might be real." But it is fun to joke about it with your friends once in a while.

I could only dream. The pictures made me laugh. It seems like they were making fun of the idea to me. :P

I'd love the potential for it to be true but my mind which is unfortunately stuck in a rational setting suggests that Nessie would be simply too large to survive in anything smaller than the Atlantic due to lack of food. I would say however that the deeper sections of oceans such as the Pacific rift could harbou such creatures

Nessie or the Lochness monster is better known as a plesiosaur, a water dinosaur that lived or still lives according to some. The Loch in the middle has never been reached and is large enough and deep enough to hold one. The Scott's believe Nessie lives there and brings good luck although rarely seen. Personally I like the thought.

It would be really nice if Nessie were real. Loch Ness is very deep and you can see how people would think there might be unknown creatures in its depths. However so many of the "sightings" are either wishful thinking or plain hoax.

I don't disbelieve in things like this, but I don't believe until I've seen for myself.

I would love for it to be true, but you would have thought they would have found some proper evidence by now at least...

Here's hoping....
