Anyone playing this? Are you liking it? Do you think its better then the first 3?
I have played a few times, and I think the graphics are great. I just wish they would develop one series where if you crash, you bust up your car and you have to pay for the damages. Now that would make you drive more carefully.

I completly agree with the damage part like if i go 100 MPH into a wall i think the car should be all screwed up. As for GT4 I've played it at my friends house and let me tell you...wow...that is one amazing game. There is just wayy too much to do. Once i get that game i think it'll take me forever to finish it. I haven't even beaten GT3. I'm not getting it now cause I'm still in school. Thank god college classes end soon.

You guys answered the question I was going to ask about the damage. :D
I don't really like driving games that much but The first game i had with my PS2 when I had it(when it just come out) was GT3. I did like that. It took ages to complete though. But thats a good thing in my eyes. It sure has took a long time for GT4 to come out after GT3 though. I won't be buying it though. I still play GT3 now and then just for nostalgia.

I think the entire Gran Turismo series sucks, largely because I am a converted-XBox user from a PS2. Midnight Club Racing: DUB Edition for XBOX is so much better than the Gran Turismo series because the graphics are so much better. There is an option to turn damage on, and there is the same career mode that the GT series has. I'm telling you, switch it up.

As far as i am concerened they should have just waited to announce the gt4 game and made it more than just a graphically updated version of 3. But thats just me. Also as far as dub edition being better lets face it. It's a compleately different style game so it isnt really right to comapre the two.
i dont really think its as good as the first three think about it nothing beats the original idea does it

The fourth game is definately the best with the added cars and nitros but they should as all of you said add a damage meter or a extremely realistic car blowy upy thing
