Well, I tried to play it, years ago, and it was very boring.
I've tried watching it on TV, and all I can say is that, in my opinion, watching golf is one of the best insomnia cures known to man :D.
This is one of those sports that most people, in fact I'd say nearly all people, either love or loathe. I'm a loather sorry.
I tend to agree with Mark Twain who said something about golf like (I'm not sure of the exact quote), "golf is a good walk spoiled".
But even after saying all that, I'm glad to hear you enjoy it, and can get something good out of it :).

I not that keen on golf either :p but getting drunk and playing?..... now there's a new way to play. That would explain the golf buggy into the lake incident I heard about :D
You would have to at least have an interest if you build golf courses..
Do you test all the ones you build Shaggy?

Ooops :D.
*trying desperately to think of something good to say about golf......*
*trying some more......*
sorry, just can't do it :p:D.
Though playing drunk makes it sound a lot more interesting. Maybe the oganizers of these huge tornaments should make the players visit the 19th hole first, then it may be a lot more fun watching them play the other 18 :D.

LOL..... I can just imagine the commentators remarking on that match :D
".... well that was Tiger Woods 3rd swing and he still hasn't got close to the ball...... I think he's having trouble focusing on the ball........ he really shouldn't have had those tequila shots at the bar with Greg Norman..... this could be a costy mistake for him....."

Last time I tried to play golf, I nearly removed someone's ear... :(
Although running at someone whos swinging a big metal stick wasn't too smart on their part...

Golf is fun, but it makes me very angry...Last week I missed a putt, so now my putter is in the bottom of the water hazard on Hole 8...(I was having a bad day)

I've tried playing, but I've had similar results to HinesDaMan, so instead I decided to take up tennis.

i love to play golf
but only tigger woods pga tour 2005
Ok I Love golf it is awesome. I agree with Shaggy it is a great reason to get drunk and try to play golf. Here are some of my golf moments good, bad, and funny...
I hit a chip shot about 40 yards away onto an elavated green and got it in for birdie.
Lost 5 balls in the same spot one time and just gave up on the hole.
Threw my putter one day and it landed in the tee box on the hole i was playing - it was a short par 3
My friends and i got really drunk that we couldn't finish the round
My really drunk friends rolled a golf cart thankfully there was nobody else to see that happen
Got so drunk that i couldn't hit the ball.
Its the only time i can Drink and Drive. I'm talking about drinking and driving the golfcarts of course.
My friend, with a golf cart, rearended my other friends, who were in a golfcart, in the middle of the of a fairway where everyone could see us this time the gourse was crowded also the upkeep guys saw us as well so how we didn't get kicked off.

as a matter of fact shaggy, i love to play golf.whether on PC, or playing on a course. as for all the drunkards out swining a club at a ball, they couldn't possibly be trying to learn to play anything, anyway, what is your best shot, and where did it happen? mine was my first eagle,(almost), i was on a 396 yd
par 4, my tee shot landed a little left of center of the fairway about 110 yds
from the hole, i used my p wedge, it felt really good when i hit it, the fellow
i was playing with made a comment that it looked like the ball was probably going to hit the flag, instead it landed about 1 1/2 inches dead center in front of the cup, and backed up about 6 inches. not a bad almost huh? i have eagled a few par 5 holes though. how about you?
doorkeeperz
shaggy, where do you live, or what part of the US do you live in, I live in the pensacola florida area, there are some very nice courses here, i have not played the moors yet but i will soon. talk to you later,
doorkeeperz
