Whats Revenge of the wannabees about laughoutloud?, sounds interesting :)
Favorite books...hmm...there's tons :D
The Dragonriders series by Anne McCaffrey
Stephen Kings books
The flowers in the attic series, and a few of the other series by V C Andrews.
Lots of different geography, astronomy and history reference books
Unexplained mysteries/the paranormal books.
I'd better stop here, or this list will get very long :D.
It's hard to pick an outstanding favourite but i'd have to say...
Magician by Raymond E Feist .... I think i've read it 3 times :D... big book.. 2" thick
But I also like...
Stephen King books... I've read most of them... I reckon the books are better than the movies for him.
David Eddings... I can't remember the name of the series I read... about 7 books all up
Deathworld 1,2,3 by Harry Harrison I think
Terry Prachett - The discworld series was pretty funny, I liked his humor :D
I love unexplained mystery and paranormal books :) I have an interest in this area because of personal experiences i've had..... I feel a Serious Discussion topic coming :D
There are a few more I can't think of at the moment. I used to read a lot when I was younger but I don't get much time to read these days.
my fave book is enything funny
i like jaquline willson and louis sachar

I would have to go with The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, closely followed by Isaac Asimov's Foundation series.
Others include Raymond E Feists Riftworld sagas and Harry Harrisons The Stainless Steel Rats adventures :D :D
Heaps more but it would take nearly forever to list them :D :D
Actually I did read the Riftworld Saga but I did think Magician was much better than the rest.

Good book, but in this case I like the movie better. It sticks to the original story, very well, and shows how it was back then. Besides, the boys in the movie were, to me, mostly cute. (Were, as in middle and early high school)

My favorite book is To Hell and Back.....Its about Audie Murphy he joined the army at like age 14 or 15 during WWII and became the most decorated soldier of all time. Its a very interesting book. The guy did things that you wouldn't think possible like take on a couple of tanks by himself.
