Well, I'm not a fanatic about it, so guess I can't call myself an anime loser :D.
Don't mind some of it though.

Have watched, and enjoyed Digimon (even though its a kids show, and sneered at by most anime fans), Evangelion, and Gasaraki (sorry if they're spelled wrong). Seen a few others, but can't remember their names, because they just did'nt grab me the way the three above did.

The three I saw and really did'nt like were Bubblegum crisis, Trigun and Cowboy Bebop. These shows just bored me to tears. Too much teenage angst, and not enough action. I won't even mention Pokemon. Even for a kids show that was bad.

Reading the comic books for Love Hina now, as the show is'nt available in Australia, and there is no sign it ever will be. Shame that, because the story in the comics is good and funny. I'd love to see the cartoon its based on :).

Yea, i never really saw bubblegum crisis, but I can say that i like Cowboy Bebop and Trigun. Those are shows that you kinda have to watch alot to appreciate tho. My favorites right now have to be Fullmetal Alchemist and Ruroni Kenshin, and as you said Evangelion. woo hoo lol

out of curiousity what about cowboy bepop bored you to tears, was it the award winning animation, The original soundtrack, maybe the Professional voice over(translation), or the fact that you judge anime based on one episode?

excellent anime:
series;
Lain: Serial Experiment
Cowboy Bebop
Record of Lodos Wars
Big O
Dragon Ball GT
Full Metal Alcheimist
Witch Hunter Robin
and there ar emany more
Movies;
well start with classics: Ninja Scroll, Sword of Truth, Wicked City(not for everybody), Akira, Princess Mononoke, hmm well it's been a long week, forgive this list of basic anime. True anime fans have seen everything I have listed at least once. I have all of these plus more in my collection don't know why I can't think of more.

I did'nt watch one episode, I watched several, and as a 41 year old, all the teenage crap bored me silly. Its just my taste. I am sure there are programs I like that you hate. I also don't judge a program on whether its won awards or not, I judge it on whether I enjoy it.

I have not watched a whole lot of anime lately, but I really like Inuyasha and Cowboy Bebop.

Contrary to everyone else posting on this thread, I despise Anime. There's just something about the gigantic mouths that shrink to a miniscule dot once the speaker is done talking that just bugs me...

alrighty then . . . faugar,
you think arkacia judged anime harsgluy . . . and l0ookign form your view point, your right. after all, according to yo8ir list, you;ve pretty muich only watched the crap.
witch huinter robin? please, donl;t get me started.
lain is nice, but it tries too hard, and is actually justa poser of popualr sci-fi form the 40's . . . . read the golden collection, it's hot in book stores right now, anfd the whoel story fo lain is right out there for all to see . . . . nice aniem, bnut when you;ve read its source, it just does'ne measure up. akira was my first anime experience, and i ahve to say, i liked the way the characters developed, since it was one of the first movies, series, etc. to do that thing. but now that techniqwue is rather opdl and moldy.
princess monoyoke? *shudders* i wonlt even begin on that one. i couldn;t pay that much attention to the story, really, i was too busy lamenting the many and gigantic mistkes made in the basic baking inf the film.
full metal alchemist? ncie, but its runs rather long and doesn;t really change. perhaps i juyst haven;t gotten past a slump in its writing, yet, though.
i have only two animes i really lime hyet now:
Nadisco(comedy, americna writing origins)
and
. . . croa, i cna;lt remember itds name, actually. really silly, random show, the name of it is the same as the main character, a wierd hyperactive wastefully cheerful girl workign for lord ippalaso of Le croix to purge the woprld of idiocy and take it over. she ahs this dog, mun-chi, her "emergency rations". the ending song, is , in fact, "so you want to eat me". cvan;t remember its name for the life of me, thouigh . . . .

"Let's go, Gekigangar 3!"
-Jiro Yam-- GAI DAIGOJI, memorable character in Martian Successor Nadesico

The other series Freakums mentioned is Excel Saga. Lord Ilpalazzo is watching you, so don't do anything you might later feel sorry for, when ACROSS first takes over the city of F, and eventually the whole world. The world is corrupted, no matter how much of Zagato's hideout the sewers sometimes remind me.

Well, I like animé. Yet, I'd never say "True anime fans have seen everything I have listed at least once" about any series, as many people no matter how much they loved/adored/worshipped/drew anime/manga, cannot stand it for sure.

EXcelsaga! thats it! poor quality anime . . . but dnag it, thats good humour!
perhaps in my last post iwas a bit negatiove of the animes that faugar listed . . . they are defenmit better then anythign else on tv . .. .
alothough not the best animes. I was weatching a few good ones a while back, now i;m in abit of a fix for finding any . . .
besides the comedies.
and . . . MArtain Successor Nadisco?
errrr . . . . ever hear opf Martain Invaders Nadisco, Mantzaros? it seems to me that oit may uust be different name sfor the series . . . but i don't recongize the character you mention. hmmm . . . ..
strange. as well, i mioght the characters name you mentuioned is in Japanese . . . i found an american made anime . . . perhaps a poser. i shall have to look into this. . . .

Dude! Anime so totally rocks! I've only seen Excel Saga once though. It confused me. o.O But it did make me laugh so that's a good thing. Fruits Basket is a cute one too, but it seems most people either love it or they hate it. Cowboy Bebop is a classic, love that too. Inuyasha has lost it's spark in the new episodes it's put out resently. It makes me sad. Saiyuki is awesome sweetness though! Ah yes. Hakkai, the green eyed hot one. Gojyo, the red haired hot one. Sanzo, the cold mysterious hot one. And then there's Goku and he's just there. *sigh* Oh well. Wolf's Rain was another good one I liked alot but it was really sad. The wolves were so cute! ^_^ Has anyone out there seen Blue Gender? I really want to get the OAV but I don't know if it's worth it.

Some anime is ok..if you can make sense of some of the ones that get put out..I have seen some that make no total sense at all.

The only anime I've ever seen is Pokemon and Dragonball Z. However, I've seen a lot of 'fan art' floating around on the web, and being an experimental 'artist', I have tried my hand at drawing the style.

Here is my shot at drawing an anime dog/wolf/dingo.
I drew an outline in greylead, scanned it, and in photoshop made the white transparent and coloured it in from a layer underneath, and then vectored it. This is the end result: :)

My favorite Animes would have to be
Tsubasa
Hellsing,
Gravitation
Naruto
Angelic Layers
Chobits
.Hack/sign
Cowboy Bebop
FLCL
Bleach
Fruits Basket
Card Captors Sakura
Ragnorok
Ah!My Goddess
Comic Party
EXCEL Saga
King of the Bandits Jing ^o^
I can't think of anymore currently but I love these ones.. I don't think I have found an anime I didn't like.
