What is your favorite console videogame for either XBOX, Playstation 2, or Gamecube?

Gamecube: Zelda windwaker

XBOX: HALO (haven't played HALO 2 yet) :D

Playstation 2: Grand Theft Auto: San Adreas

I don't have any of those machines, but my favorite for my Playstation 1 is Civilization 2, closly followed by Final fantasy 7,8 and 9.

unfortunatly dont have any consoles apart from pc but i find the settlers series excellent

i used to have an old speccy and i have managed to buy cd full of speccy games for my pc which brings me back to the old style of gameplay

hehe, well because halo is nothing new. its just an average game that i've played many times over, there was absolutly nothing in it that hadnt already been done years before. then it gets hyped up to no end. well i dont buy into the hype. no halo for my xbox :P


it also has a bit to do with i hate all FPS on consoles. lack of control.

hehe, its a good game and all, i just dont like it :p

thats cool, it is basically just a FPS, but i like it. and besides halo, Fable is definately my favorite title aswell. It is rather short tho.

As my husband was a fan of the old Amiga version, I bought him a copy, and he and I have been playing it heaps. It managed to keep the best of the original version, plus update some bits and add impovements. Pirates fans have waited a long, long time for this game to be released, and I must say, it was worth it.

I was a big Amiga fan... till my computer stopped working but I don't know that game. What sort of game is it?? What's the storyline/plot, if it has one?

You've never heard of Pirates? :eek::D

This site (http://www.atari.com/pirates/pirates/overview.php) should give you a basic idea of the game. Its a really good one, and a lot more fun than FPS's in my opinion. It also has a high replay value.

The Amiga version is available at OG I think, if not, it is abandonware as far as I know, and a google should bring up lots of places to find it.

I will have to have a look at Oldgames.... I guess the new version would be a lot better though. Don't know about the dancing bit.... you don't need talent do you??? My dancing is probably worse than Elaine on Seinfeld :D

The dancing is only in the new version. The old game had a much easier "romance" element. Personally I hate the dancing bit, so don't do it. The girls and their fathers get a bit miffed, but thats life :D:D.

I have definitely got to agree about Super Smash Bros. Melee for the GCN and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for the GBA, also, Final Fantasy VII for the PS, DanceDance Revolution Max 2 for the PS2, Duck Hunt for the NES, Chrono Trigger for the SNES, Super Smash Bros. for the N64... *continued rambling over love of games past* :D :D :D
