I think its a good idea....we need more people posting!!!!...... :)

Im also curious how many members there are and what percentage roughly have less than 15 posts... anyone know?

1,213 memebers, about 20 to 30 have posted. Not a very good ratio.. :)

I understand we have to have 15 posts to play the games in the arcade, but is there anyway to become a moderator? I'd love to be able to dedicate my skills to the forums.

Hi TimidAngel, and welcome to the forums :)

If you take a look at This thread (http://www.randomgames.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123&page=1&pp=10), it should answer your questions about why this new system has been introduced. You have your 15 posts, and they are all OK, so you have access to the arcade without any problems :).

although i dont like the rule, it is very handy, it prevents shaggy from dealing with deadbeats who just leech his bandwith away from the site

Nope, I was'nt at the time. That post is an old one, and was posted when you were trying to get your 15 posts, were very confused about the whole business, and were spamming up the forum. If you remember, I was deleting and merging a lot of your posts, and it took you a while to figure out how to post properly.

I apologize if it sounds patronising, that's not how it was meant. I posted that to try to help you get your 15 posts, nothing more.

Yes they will but if they do we will send them warnings and if they continue to spam they will be banned. This games site is free and the only condition of use is that everyone follows the rules.

It is that simple:)

so now suddenly we have to have 15 posts in order to play the games?!? i personally think that is a bunch of crap....i come to the site to play games not to post crap...if i wanted to talk to people i would go have a convo.....

any and all thoughts would be appreciated

cause maybe it's just me....

i mean to be perfectly honest...i only come to the site on breaks in between my classes to relax and veg out

i just don't get the point of it.

so now i am forced to make up stupid posts just so that i can play a game and relax...doesn;t anyone realize that this just stresses people out

Dizzy,

Sorry you feel that way. All you need to do is post a few more times, and you will always be able to play, with having to never post again. Doesn't seem to much to ask?

Try taking a look at the Off Topic Lounge. There are plenty of easy to answer threads in there like "whats your age", "member intro thread", "where do you live" etc. You can also start your own threads if you want to ;):).

red, its not hard to find posts to reply to. I could take you more then a few minutes to post reasonalbe posts to hit 15. Not that hard.

and if you dont trust them because they have so maney posts i joined the forum a few months ago and i at first was mad that i couldent play games because thats the only reason i joined but once you get the hand of posting you become addicted

and when i said if you dont trust them i was refering to you can relate to me more being really new still

I only started here back in June, so I'm still new. Not even 5 months into the site, yet. 4.5 months to be more precise. Only a month older than Empty, and I have over 1000 posts, now. So it isn't hard.

No ..it isn't hard at all.. as I posted in a thread not long ago..

I basically replied to the person..telling them that looking around the forum..finding something that they may like to post on is all it takes
provided they don't break the rules..that is what we all did..and we are in here enjoying RG in what ever way..to help this site grow more:D
