We have decided to implement a new system on Random games:cool:.

Sometime over the weekend, the new system will start, and at that time all members will have to have a post count of at least 15 posts to play the games.

This system is being introduced to improve the forum, and help it grow:).

We believe that members contributing a little to the forum is a fair exchange for accessing the games, that are being provided free.

If you have'nt posted on the forums before, I ask you to read the rules thread first. It is stickied in all forums except the Announcements forum, and Feedback and suggestions;).

There are plenty of threads open now for posting in, or you are welcome to start threads of your own :)

Yep...when they try to access the arcade, the will get a access denied page, telling them why they can't access it. It would say you need 15 posts in the forum to allow you to continuing playing in the arcade.

Just want to let some of you know that spamming (posting nonsense/off topic/useless posts), will not get you to your 15 posts, and playing in the arcade, because I can delete them as quick as you can put them in:D.

15 posts is not that many, and I'm sure you all can add something interesting to the forum :).

What are you having trouble understanding?

I will try to be simple here :).

You need to post 15 posts/messages in the forum to play the games in the arcade.

You can't post spam (nonsense or off topic) posts, because they are rubbish posts and I will remove them, putting you under 15 posts again.

You need to read the first post in a thread, and follow what the topic is in that thread, for example if the thread is asking how old you are, you just need to post your age.

You can't multi-post, that means putting two or more consecutive posts in the same thread, because I will just merge them.

Your posts are a bit better today than yesterday, and you will notice a few have survived my trigger finger :D.

Just read the start posts in a thread, post on topic, and you will have your 15 posts, be able to access the arcade without any problems :).

If anyone is famaliar with the game Spider Jump could they please write a brief description on how to play the game so we can add it to the Master list of instructions. The author will be credited by having their name added to the description.

We are also looking for hints and tips on playing any of the games which can be added to the list so if anyone has any helpful tips you can send them by PM to me or Arkacia.

If you take a look at some the posts in the Mastergames list (http://www.randomgames.com/forum/showthread.php?t=118), they should give you an idea of what we mean. Its basically a discription of how to play the game, and any non-cheating hints or tips :).

Thanks for your willingness to do this, it'll help people who have never played the game before know what to do.

You can send it by PM or post it here, whichever you prefer, and we can copy/paste it into the right post in the mastergames list. You will be credited for your work:).

I know Arkacia has mentioned this previously, but I wanted to reiterate the rules. In order for new players to get to the arcade, they need to post, in the forum, at least 15 times. The posts, in order for them to be counted, need to be at least 10, but preferrably 20, or more, words long, on the specified topic, and following all of the posting rules. There is no double posting (posting twice, or more, in a row) allowed for reaching the specified 15.
If you don't know what is being posted for a certain thread, you can go back to the first page of the thread you are in and read the rules for it. If it's a forum game, you can also look at the posts before to get an idea of how it's been played, previously. If, after that, you still don't know what to do in the thread, send a message to a moderator, such as myself, and ask them for help. Keep in mind that any moderator has the choice to delete and/or merge any posts that they feel are against the rules. If that happens, your post count will be dropped back, accordingly, which means you'll have to make up the number of those deleted. To prevent this happening, please stick to the rules.

We have brought back the requirement that members submit 15 posts before playing the games in the arcade. This isn't a new thing for this forum. It was in place for a long while before being lost in the midst of the forum upgrade.

While the arcade was having problems, and only had a few games we didn't feel it was fair to bring it back, but now we have over 150 games, with more to come, it is time for this rule to return. 15 posts isn't that many, and we feel contributing a little to the forum is a fair return for free access.

Please be aware spamming your 15 posts won't be tolerated. Any spammy posts will be deleted and repeat spammers will be warned, or banned. There are plenty of threads in the Off Topic lounge and Arcade chat that you can put short answers in if you aren't a chatty person. You are also encouraged to start threads of your own if you wish.

I've just finished cleaning 2 days worth of spam off the forum. I wasn't joking about not bothering to spam. It will be gone without explaination or warning, and your post count will be back below what is needed to play the games.

Please everyone, read the rules thread and don't spam your 15 posts. It just isn't worth your time to put them up, or mine to delete them.
